SO CHOUX was created in London in May 2013 by Sophie, a French former public relation expert from Paris, who notably worked for 8 years at the French gastronomy industry and more specifically for the "Salon du Chocolat" in Paris. When she moved to London with her husband and their three children, she knew it would be difficult for her to do this job in the British capital. Having been surrounded by foodies and experts in pastries, she wanted to start her own business in that field. Sophie used to buy her eldest daughter macarons every week back in Paris as it was her daughter’s favourite sweet treat. In London, she did not find many choices in her neighbourhood and the idea of So Choux emerged.
Sophie decided to follow some training with the expert at Atelier des Chefs but also Michalak Ecole de cuisine in Paris. She watched hundreds of YouTube videos and had read over and over again grand chef books and kept practising in her own kitchen. That’s how So Choux was born, a company dedicated to offering the most delicious handmade macarons and choux for all the food lovers in West London.
So Choux means ‘’So cute’’ in French, that's exactly what you could say of her little jewels of joy.
So Choux macarons & choux are little pieces of heaven, a source of joy and indulgence.
Choux also refers to choux pastry like profiteroles, éclairs, chouquettes, craquelins….

All ingredients are sourced and chosen carefully and most of them are bought in France.
So Choux uses a selection of the best products (Valrhona chocolate, vanilla from Madagascar, unwaxed lemon...). They all are completely GLUTEN FREE.
