The Black Forest, "Forêt Noire" in French, is made with different layers of smooth chocolate biscuit soaked in cherry syrup, a whisked chocolate ganache, and a crème patissière lightened with vanilla. Garnished inside with Amarena cherries, the pastry is topped with a mascarpone crème Chantilly (whipped cream) and dark chocolate curls.
